Mikrosam
Mikrosam offers its own internally developed software for composite part design and the generation of the G-Code needed to perform all of the kinematics necessary to operate the fiber/tape placement head.  By supplying this software with the machine, Mikrosam offers customers the lowest price, highest value proposition in the market as well as the lowest total cost of ownership over time.  MikroPlace now in its 4.0 version is continually updated based on customer feedback. It supports offline design, programming, and simulation of automated composite manufacturing. It is capable of supporting multiple processes, such as winding, automated fiber and tape placement, trimming, and also multi-robot placement for tool-less thermoplastics. It was used in the simulation and design of the latest tool-less thermoplastic parts which Mikrosam produced with General Atomics ASI. Customers use MikroPlace as a standalone package with a floating license for any machine, not just Mikrosam's. It is well integrated with other software for design -- CATIA, FiberSim -- and for analysis.
